Pratik Joshi had spent the last six years in London, working hard as a software professional, holding on to a dream — to one day bring his wife and three young children from India to join him and build a better life together abroad.
That dream was finally coming true. Just two days ago, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, a respected doctor in Udaipur, resigned from her job. The family had packed their bags, said their goodbyes, and looked ahead with hope in their hearts.
This morning, filled with excitement, they boarded Air India flight 171 to London. They took a selfie, smiling wide, and sent it to their loved ones — a snapshot of a new beginning.
But they never made it.
The plane crashed. No one survived.
In an instant, a lifetime of plans, dreams, and love was gone. A harsh, heartbreaking reminder that life is painfully fragile. Everything we hold dear — our families, our futures, our happiness — can disappear in a blink.
So while you still can, live fully. Love deeply. Be present. Don’t keep waiting for the perfect time to start living.
Because tomorrow is never promised.
